Amber Martin has been selected as the 2023-2024 Support Professional of the Year!
Amber has been at MacArthur for about four years, where she works as the attendance clerk. She joined Team Tulsa six years ago so she could work the same schedule as her kids, who were in elementary at the time.
"My time with TPS has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I began my journey as an autism para where I learned a whole new love for special needs children and just how amazing they are! I even ended up adopting a special needs child because of my experience in the classroom," said Amber.
"Now I am serving as the attendance clerk at MacArthur Elementary and have never been happier being where I am now! I truly found a family at MacArthur Elementary. I am such an out going people person, and I am grateful for MacArthur giving me the opportunity to do what I am doing."
Outside of work, Amber is passionate about her family, church, and working out.
