The Tulsa Public Schools Language and Cultural Services team held the second annual Hispanic Heritage Festival at the Gathering Place Boathouse on September 23.
The Tulsa Public Schools Language and Cultural Services team held the second annual Hispanic Heritage Festival at the Gathering Place Boathouse on September 23.
The event included performances by LatinDance 918, Latin Gaita, and Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca. Many Tulsa Public Schools students performed as part of Ballet Folklorico Sol Azteca.
There was also delicious food from local businesses, including churros, tamales, empanadas, and more. Other organizations offered shopping and services for families to check out on the upper floors of the Boathouse.
