Hello, parents and friends!

My name is Lauri Brown.  This is my 10^th year of teaching at MacArthur Elementary.  My degree is from Northeastern State University, and is in Early Childhood Education.  I have taught either Pre-K or Kindergarten during my time at MacArthur.  Being a teacher is very rewarding personally, and each year I learn things from my students that help me to be a better teacher.

Being a mom is also one of my passions.  I have two daughters.  My youngest daughter is seventeen, and a junior in high school.  My oldest daughter is twenty and attending Tulsa Community College.  I enjoy spending time with my girls, and I’m also very proud of them!
