Hello My Name Is...

Mrs. Miller

My name is Cindy Miller and I am a second grade teacher at MacArthur Elem.  I graduated from Northeastern State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have been teaching for 14 years and have spent the majority of those years in Kindergarten.  I taught first grade one year with the idea in mind to “loop” up to second grade with the same group of students. I am very thankful for the opportunity and would HIGHLY recommend it for the teacher and students alike.  It was a time of tremendous growth for not only my students but for me as a teacher.

At home I have a terrific family- John, my husband of 22 years, Jake, my son, who is 20 and attending college and Kayla, my daughter, who is 17 and now a Senior.  I enjoy living out of town where it is peaceful and quiet.  I love seeing the deer and other critters that come through my yard on occasion.  In the summer I like to spend my days in my yard and in my flower beds.
